from the Computer Museum of the University of Stuttgart

In July 2021, the Computer Museum received a PDP-12 minicomputer from the University of Vienna as a gift.

The PDP-12 is a special version of the PDP-8/I which was especially designed for operation in a laboratory environment. It has analog inputs and outputs and a very powerful display capable of doing graphics for the time to show the processed data. The PDP-12 was built from 1969 and belonged to DEC's first generation of minicomputers built with integrated circuits.
