Information on Limited Access for Borrowing and Returning Items

Please inform yourself before your visit!

Information on the reopening

As of May 11, 2020 we can offer you limited access for borrowing and returning items at both library locations.

The structural condition does not allow for sufficient ventilation of the reading rooms and learning centers. Therefore, they can unfortunately not be opened for studying and working. >>Please refer to the current statement of the university administration.<<

Most of the institute libraries are still closed. However, the BWI Library and the Library of the Historical Institute offer access during restricted opening hours. All information for registration:  https://www.bwi.uni-stuttgart.de/institut/aktuelles/news/BWI-Bibliothek-eingeschraenkt-geoeffnet/ and https://www.hi.uni-stuttgart.de/ib/

Access to the library is permitted Monday to Saturday between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. for a maximum of 10 users at the same time. Please note that this is only possible if the University Library's regulations for visitors are observed and the current SARS-CoV-2 hygiene concept of the University of Stuttgart is taken into account.
