Study spaces in College Building I

Alternative study locations to the University Library City Center

October 13, 2025 / wia / UB

At the beginning of the lecture period, we would like to introduce you to four libraries in the College Building I and II that you can visit as an alternative to the University Library City Center.

The University Library offers study spaces such as reading and individual workspaces in the reading room, group workspaces, and presentation rooms in the Learning Center. These services are available without restriction in the library building on the Vaihingen campus.

You will find more information about our offers on our website

Studying in the University Library

Unfortunately, only the ground floor of the University Library City Center is currently usable. It will only be fully reopened after a complete renovation. Individual workspaces have been moved to the foyer and group workspaces to the auditorium.

In addition to the University Library City Center, there are also study spaces in the institute libraries on the City Center campus, which can be used as an alternative to the University Library. At the beginning of the lecture period, we would like to introduce you to four libraries that you can visit in the College Building I and II.
