The University of Stuttgart is facing massive increases in energy costs and further price increases this year. Since we currently do not know when and to what extent the increased costs will be compensated with additional state funds, services of various kinds can no longer be maintained to the full extent. Unfortunately, this also affects the opening hours of the University Library, where cuts had to be made.
We understand that this means restrictions for the users of the University Library, but we ask for your understanding.
From April 1, the following new opening hours will apply to both locations of the University Library in City Center and in Vaihingen:
Mon to Fri: 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Sat: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Sun: closed
The existing service hours remain unaffected:
Mon to Fri: 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Sat: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
