The electronic full texts of the valid ISO standards are now accessible via the Perinorm database in the Database Information System (DBIS).
Thus, more than 25,000 standards of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) are available to you, comfortably and directly at your workplace - in the university or location-independent via Shibboleth. 9,000 of them are DIN-ISO standards to which we have already had access so far, 16,000 further English-language standards without German equivalent are made available additionally by the new contract.
We would like to remind you that in addition to the ISO standards, the DIN standards and the VDI guidelines, the DIN standards with VDE markings (VDE-Vorschriftenwerk), which you could previously only view on site in the reading room of the Vaihingen location, are now also available campus-wide in full text. The DIN VDE standards can also be searched in Perinorm, but for full-text retrieval you must switch to the "VDE-NormenBibliothek (VDE Standards Library)" database in DBIS.
