Description and Categories of Data
The displayed form fields are recorded in structured form in a database together with the date and time of registration.

Purpose
Execution and confirmation of the registration, management of the event.

Legal Basis
Legal basis is Art. 6, par. 1, letter e GDPR in connection with Art. 6, par. 3 GDPR in connection with sec. 4 State Data Protection Act (LDSG).

Recipient
Recipient of the personal data transmitted by means of form are the respective lecturers of the training and the staff members responsible for coordinating the library’s course offers. If you attend the training within the scope of a key qualification module, we will transfer your data to the persons responsible for the module after participation.

Duration of Storage
After six months the entry is automatically deleted from the database. The lecturers will delete the data transmitted to you four weeks at the latest after the event has ended.

Consequences of Nondisclosure, Possibility of Objection or Removal
The registration and therefore the participation in the event are not possible without mandatory information. This also applies if you wish to attend the event within the scope of a key qualification module.
The training course offers of the University Library are optional and additional.

Your Rights
You have the right to obtain information about your personal data stored from the University of Stuttgart and/or have data that are stored falsely corrected.

In addition, you have the right to deletion, restriction of processing, or a right to object to processing.

To do so, please turn to the above-mentioned Data Protection Officer of the University of Stuttgart via email.

You have the right to complain to the supervisory authority if you believe that processing of your personal data violates legal regulations. The supervisory authority responsible is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information Baden-Württemberg (LfDI Baden-Württemberg).
