With the partial opening of the library in the City Center, additional temporary learning spaces were set up in the foyer, lecture room, and catalog hall, which can be used during the building's opening hours from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. In addition, alternative spaces have been created in the container building at Breitscheidstraße 2C, which can be occupied from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Mondays through Sundays.
The building of the University Library on Vaihingen campus can be used without limitations. All workspaces are available there and the regular opening hours apply.
Visitors who regularly use the study spaces in the library at the City Center location also have the option to move to the neighboring institute libraries in the college buildings KI and KII.
