We have been looking for ways to provide learning workplaces in the library despite the ongoing construction work (ventilation, toilet renovation, damage to the roof). We have now succeeded in doing so at the Vaihingen location:
We can now provide 16 learning workplaces.
Reservations are made via an online booking system, and the workplaces are available from Monday to Friday between 10 am and 7:30 pm. You can reserve one three-hour time slot per day.
Please note that your visit is only possible in compliance with the residence rules of the University Library and in consideration of the current SARS-CoV-2 hygiene concept of the University of Stuttgart.
For the learning workplaces applies:
- Access is only possible with 3G proof (e.g. via campUS ticket/cactUS).
- Attendance documentation is required. It is done via cactUS or by printed form.
- Regardless of the minimum distances, a medical mask (FFP2) must be worn during the entire stay, also at the work and research places.
- An FFP2 respirator (or equivalent) is required for access to our buildings (including for collection and return!).
Unfortunately, construction work at the UB Stadtmitte will continue until the end of the year.
